Fri 3/26 - Memorial to my Auntie, Forest Lawn

A picture of my dad driving us to the chapel.... okay, he looks a little intense driving on the freeway, now I know where I get it from! :)

The flowers were beautiful, and the service was nice.... minus the whole "religious" aspect of it (I felt like a kid in Sunday School)

And Forest Lawn has these *amazing* statues to photograph!!

I will admit, listening to the service is a very sobering effect.... I started to think about my life, and what would people say at my funeral. It definately was an eye opener and a wonderful opportunity to bond with those around me that I haven't seen in YEARS.... I'm not sure if I'm happy with the way things are right now, but the great thing about life is that we have the ability to change our path, to be more present - more involved in other people's lives at any second if we decide to.... we just have to let the baggage go. So true.

Kogi truck knock-off (biters!)

Biters!

Here's their website.... www.boolbbq.com

Too bad I didn't get a pic of the two trucks chasing each other, that would have been funny!

I saw the Kogi truck on the freeway!!

On the way home from Malibu, I saw the Kogi truck on the freeway!!

Now I'm not really a korean bbq person, but oh, it smelled sooooooo good! (probably cause I was *starving* from my hike! lol)

But wait, it gets better!! As I'm on the freeway, desperately trying to catch up with the kogi truck so I can take a pic for my blog.... there's another one! OMG... *another* korean bbq truck on the freeway???!!! So I got close to this one to take a pic... turns out they were both exiting the freeway, one directly behind the other near Vermont and the 10.... darn, too bad I had somewhere to be! lol
